Now that is official, I can tell you why I am going to Adelaide. I won the Student Category Mander Jones Award from the Australian Society of Archivists.
The Australian Society of Archivists and Edith Cowan University are paying for my travel, registration and accommodation so that I can attend the national conference, and the Cocktail Party at the State Library of South Australia where I will receive the award.
This is my first plane flight!
