- I watched Twenty20 cricket via Foxtel on Michael’s Xbox – lo and behold Australia acutally won a game! My last time watching Fox was a couple years ago at my cousin’s place and involved some show about people dressing up their pets and generally treating them like children. (Just a random memory for you there people!)
- I also tried Reese’s peanut butter cups – they seem salty to me. I could eat more. I thought of my brother’s quote upon eating another goodie from the US… Just ate a pop tart. I may feel like I sold my soul to america but it did taste good… I think it would apply to my feeling about the peanut butter cups too!
Next week’s post will no doubt be huge as we are house-sitting for friends, a lot of new stuff coming up this week!
Oh, your brother's statement cracks me up!! And, yes, the Reese's is the perfect blend of salty and sweet. It took me years to eat one, though. I used to not appreciate peanut butter. Can you imagine?
Aha yes, if I had to choose I think I prefer the pop-tarts.
I feel like peanut butter cups needed more chocolate and a tad less peanut butter. *gasp* something from america is actually too healthy for my taste! *generalization*
your first Reese's Peanut Butter Cup? That's momentous! Now I want a Peanut Butter cup. :-
Oh! And I was going to say that I remember the first time I had TimTams (sent from an Australian friend) – I almost relocated to Australia that day. They make an American version now, a few years later, but they're not the same.
We have been known to post TimTams over to the US for friends 🙂 … so if you have a craving just email me about 4 weeks in advance lol!
Peanut butter cups are my favorite!
Oh, wow!! So we don't have Bounty bars here, and Reese's Peanut Butter cups are hard to find there- who knew!! I grew up eating those things and usually have a stash of them in the house somewhere. Like right now there are a bunch in a basket on top of the entertainment center…
